    A glass slide showing extreme crazing

    Description

    The fragility of the glass slides is evident here. This slide, though otherwise whole, has been marred by a network of cracks interrupting a photo of skin boats set on the riverbank. It may have been dropped or its box struck over Miriam Green Ellis' many travels.
