    Portrait of a young Inuit man, Alikomiak, convicted of the murder of an Northwest Mounted Police officer and later hung for it. This image juxtaposes the coloured magic lantern version with the photographic print included in Miriam Green Ellis' photo album. The coloured magic lantern slide version is on the left, and the album print is on the right.
