    A birch bark canoe, set on the shore at Fort Norman (now Norman Wells), Northwest Territories. This image juxtaposes the coloured magic lantern version with the photographic print included in Miriam Green Ellis' photo album. The coloured magic lantern slide version is on the top, and the album print is on the bottom.
