Juxtapositions
The Miriam Green Ellis collection contains both photographic prints and magic lantern slides, and many of the images from her Aklavik trip are extant in both forms. Each medium offers a different interpretation of the same image. To highlight the strengths of each medium, both versions of a selection of images are provided side by side.
