Donated Items

Miriam Green Ellis' estate included many items of her craft. Upon her passing, much of these items were willed to the University of Alberta. She spent a great deal of time travelllng, much of it accompanied by her photographic equipment or her magic lantern slides. In addition her to her photo albums, manuscripts and magic lantern slides, the Miriam Green Ellis Collection includes two of the cases she used to transport her equipment. These still held photographic plates and magic lantern slides in their original boxes.
